Account & Data Terms
Signature Edge account tools are provided for your personal, non-commercial real estate use. Protected listing information must not be copied, redistributed or retransmitted. Creating an account or using these tools does not by itself create an agency relationship or representation agreement with Signature Edge Realty International.
Homeowner Edge may provide registered users with enhanced MLS® information, including sold information, through a Virtual Office Website (VOW) data service when available. Access to VOW data requires a bona fide interest in the purchase, sale or lease of real estate and requires the user to provide their name, current telephone number and valid email address, agree to the applicable VOW terms, and complete email verification before VOW data access is provided. VOW access may also require periodic reauthentication or renewal.
The REALTORS® Association of Edmonton owns the copyright in its MLS® System data. Information submitted by a VOW user and the user's VOW activity may be retained as required to administer the VOW and may be provided to the REALTORS® Association of Edmonton where required for administration, security or compliance purposes.
Providing an email address and telephone number for account/VOW eligibility is separate from consenting to optional commercial or marketing email from Signature Edge Realty International. Marketing-email consent is controlled separately in your account preferences.
Privacy
Information submitted through this website is used to respond to enquiries, provide requested real estate or service information, and administer requested services or transactions. We do not sell enquiry information to advertisers.
The website uses service providers to operate features such as property data, address lookup, payment processing and transactional email. Information is shared with those providers only as needed to provide the requested website or brokerage service.
Website Analytics, Cookies & Browser Storage
Signature Edge Realty International uses a first-party visitor cookie to recognize the same browser across return visits for up to 90 days. We also use session storage for the current website session and local browser storage for selected website preferences, such as market views, property-column choices and other convenience settings. These first-party tools do not read contacts, email accounts or cookies belonging to other websites.
For website security, diagnostics and business analytics, we may record a visitor/session identifier, pages and actions, referral source, device type, IP address, browser user-agent and the traffic/agent category supplied by our hosting provider. These signals may be used to classify traffic as likely human, likely automated/bot or unknown and to identify probable duplicate browser visitors. An IP address or browser signal alone is not treated as proof of a person's identity.
Anonymous detailed activity is generally retained in the website analytics database for up to seven days and a lightweight anonymous return-visitor record may be retained for up to 90 days. If you sign in or submit an enquiry, the visitor/session record may be associated with your account or contact record. Meaningful account activity — such as property views, searches, saved searches, favourites, requested alerts, Homeowner Edge activity, messages and enquiries — may be retained in a private brokerage activity timeline so Signature Edge can understand and respond to your real estate interests. Recently viewed listings may also be stored in your account to help you return to properties you opened while signed in. Private operational reports and aggregate business statistics may be retained longer.
Email Contact & Consent
Creating a Signature Edge account does not require consent to receive optional commercial or follow-up email. When you actively select the email-contact option, you consent to receive market updates, property-search and Homeowner Edge updates, real estate opportunities, and occasional information about Signature Edge Realty International services. You may withdraw that consent at any time from My Account or through the unsubscribe mechanism included in commercial email.
Signature Edge Realty International keeps an electronic record of the current email preference and a consent/withdrawal history so the brokerage can respect and demonstrate your choice. Account, security, transactional, saved-search listing alerts, requested monthly Homeowner Edge updates, or service messages needed to provide something you request are administered separately from this optional marketing preference. Saved-search alerts can be changed or turned off from My Searches, and monthly Homeowner Edge updates can be turned off from the applicable property in Homeowner Edge.
